The eagerly awaited crossover between *Five Nights at Freddy’s* and *Dead by Daylight* is on the horizon, but the creative minds at Behaviour Interactive are not stopping there. In a recent interview with IGN, the developers behind the beloved asymmetrical horror game shared their vision for future additions to the roster of Killers and Survivors. While the community is buzzing about the upcoming *Five Nights at Freddy’s* content, the team at Behaviour is already dreaming up the next big horror icons to join their ever-expanding universe.
Killer Designer and horror aficionado Jason Guzzo, who has previously brought iconic characters like Chucky, Dracula, and Springtrap into *Dead by Daylight*, has a particular franchise in mind that he’s passionate about: *The Thing*. Despite not being currently in discussion at higher levels, Guzzo's dream is to see this classic horror movie come to life within the game. “As far as I know, it’s not something that is being discussed above me, but my dream – and probably my favorite horror movie – is the obvious one: The Thing,” Guzzo shared. He’s been on a “crusade” to make this happen since joining the team two and a half years ago, though he acknowledges the potential design challenges of adapting such a complex and shape-shifting entity into a playable character.

Creative Director Dave Richard echoed the enthusiasm for expanding the game's horror roster, mentioning Pennywise as a villain he believes would be “amazing” to include. However, Richard’s ambitions don’t stop there. “There are other kings of horror that would be amazing to have,” he remarked. “You could guess any one of them, I’m thinking. Frankly, I just want to collect them all.” Richard also humorously suggested less conventional choices like Stephen King’s Cujo and Christine, indicating the team’s willingness to think outside the box.
As *Dead by Daylight* approaches its ninth anniversary, the game continues to evolve and expand, showing no signs of slowing down. The *Five Nights at Freddy’s* Chapter, featuring Springtrap and a new pizzeria map, is set to launch on June 17.
