DLC: Fan Demand Determines the Future

While the development team initially considered adding episodic DLC to the PC release, resource constraints prioritized completing the final installment of the Remake trilogy. Hamaguchi stated that adding new content is not currently planned, but he's receptive to strong player demand. "If we receive strong requests from players after the release," he explained, "we would like to consider them." Substantial player feedback could influence future DLC decisions.

A Message to Modders: Creativity with Responsibility

Hamaguchi also addressed the modding community. While the game lacks official mod support, he acknowledged the inevitable interest from modders and encouraged creativity, but with a crucial caveat: "We respect the creativity of the modding community and welcome their creations—though we ask modders not to create or install anything offensive or inappropriate." This responsible approach acknowledges the potential for both positive and negative contributions from the modding community.

PC Version Enhancements and Challenges

The PC version boasts graphical improvements, including enhanced lighting and texture resolutions, addressing previous criticisms of the uncanny valley effect in character faces. Higher-end systems will benefit from superior 3D models and textures beyond the PS5's capabilities. However, porting the numerous mini-games presented unique challenges, particularly in configuring unique key settings.
