DOOM: The Dark Ages, launching May 15th, aims for maximum accessibility. Unlike previous id Software titles, it boasts extensive customization options, a key focus for executive producer Marty Stratton. This includes adjusting enemy difficulty, damage output, projectile speed, player damage, and even pacing elements like aggression and parry timing.

Stratton assures players that both DOOM: The Dark Ages and DOOM: Eternal's narratives are independently understandable.
