Future Development Supported by DLC and Skins

In a recent Twitter (X) statement, Pocketpair clarified its position: "Palworld's business model will not change; it will remain buy-to-play, not F2P or GaaS." This announcement followed an interview where the developer explored various future possibilities, including live service and F2P models. While internal discussions about the game's long-term growth continue, the F2P/GaaS approach has been ruled out.

They apologized for any anxiety caused by earlier reports and reiterated their dedication to making Palworld the best possible game.

The previously reported interview with ASCII Japan, where CEO Takuro Mizobe discussed future plans, was conducted several months ago. While Mizobe mentioned adding new content, including Pals and raid bosses, Pocketpair now clarifies that future development will likely be supported by the release of cosmetic skins and DLC. Further details on this will be shared later.
