Assassins Creed Shadows Combat and Progression Unveiled

Ubisoft unveils details on the combat and progression systems in Assassin's Creed Shadows. Game director Charles Benoit sheds light on character development, loot acquisition, and weapon diversity.

The game boasts a dual progression system: mastery points and knowledge points. Mastery points are earned through leveling up and defeating formidable foes, while knowledge points are rewarded for mission completion and discovering hidden items. These points unlock new abilities and enhance weapons.

Each weapon features a unique upgrade path, enabling players to craft customized builds. Players retain the freedom to reset their progress, encouraging experimentation with various strategies and weaponry. Each weapon provides unique benefits for specific combat scenarios. Legendary weapons, such as the naginata, offer countermeasures against otherwise insurmountable attacks.
