Set to launch in late 2025 as part of the Magic: The Gathering – D&D: Adventures in the Multiverse expansion, this new set will introduce players to a fast-paced, high-energy multiversal realm where Sonic and his allies battle through the chaotic realms of the Magic universe. Featuring a full 100-card collectible expansion deck, the crossover will spotlight Sonic as a legendary planeswalker, wielding the Chaos Emerald’s Power to manipulate time, space, and velocity. His signature abilities—such as Sonic’s Dash, Hyper Drive, and Ember Spin—will be reimagined as powerful spells and abilities that let players unleash devastating combos at lightning speed. Key cards in the set include: Sonic, the Blue Comet – A legendary creature with haste and flying, able to attack immediately upon casting. When it enters the battlefield, you may search your library for a Speed card and put it into your hand. Chaos Emerald of Time – An artifact that allows you to replay spells from your graveyard once per turn, echoing Sonic’s ability to rewind time. Dr. Eggman, Architect of Chaos – A planeswalker with three loyalty counters. His abilities let you steal creatures and control the game’s tempo, embodying his relentless pursuit of power. Tails’ Tornado Construct – A legendary artifact creature that gains +1/+1 for each "fast" spell you’ve cast this turn—perfect for turning up the heat. The set also features alternate art cards, including a special foil edition of Sonic vs. the Dark Mage of Limbo, a dramatic clash between Sonic and a corrupted planeswalker who seeks to drain the energy of all speed from the multiverse.
