Shift Up, the developer behind the acclaimed action RPG *Stellar Blade*, has announced a record-breaking financial year, with the game generating an impressive $43 million in royalties. According to a report by Game World Observer, Shift Up's 2024 financial report showcased a total revenue of $151.4 million, marking a significant 30.4% increase from the previous year. The stellar performance of *Stellar Blade* played a pivotal role in this financial surge.

The success of *Stellar Blade* shows no signs of waning, as Shift Up confidently projects that the upcoming PC version will surpass the sales of the original PlayStation 5 release, particularly in the lucrative Asian gaming market. This optimism is backed by the game's popularity, having quickly sold a million copies and earning a 7/10 from IGN, despite some critiques regarding its characters, story, and RPG mechanics.

Looking ahead, Shift Up is not resting on its laurels. The company plans to unveil its new project, *Project Witches*, in the first half of 2025. This announcement comes shortly after *Stellar Blade*'s PS5 launch in 2024, before any momentum for a sequel could be built. However, Shift Up has hinted at the possibility of developing another game within the *Stellar Blade* franchise, much to the delight of fans eagerly awaiting more adventures with protagonist Eve, who battles unknown invaders to reclaim Earth in the fast-paced action RPG.

With *Stellar Blade* setting a strong foundation, Shift Up's future endeavors, including the PC release and *Project Witches*, promise to keep the momentum going and continue to expand their influence in the gaming industry.
