Marvel Game Unveils Stealthy Invisible Woman Gameplay

Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls

Get ready for a thrilling addition to Marvel Rivals! Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four is joining the fight, alongside new maps, a fresh game mode, and a revamped battle pass, all launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. A recent gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's strategic abilities in action.

This first season, "Eternal Darkness Falls," will pit players against Dracula as the primary antagonist. While Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debut on January 10th, Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later. NetEase Games has confirmed that seasons will run approximately three months, with significant mid-season updates (around six to seven weeks post-launch) introducing additional heroes.

The Invisible Woman gameplay trailer highlights her versatile abilities. Her primary attack combines damage to enemies with healing for allies. A knockback feature keeps foes at bay, complemented by her invisibility and double jump for enhanced mobility. She can also deploy a protective shield for teammates and unleash an ultimate ability creating an area of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.

Mister Fantastic Gameplay Revealed

A separate trailer offered a glimpse of Mister Fantastic's unique gameplay. His abilities blend Duelist and Vanguard styles, showcasing stretching attacks and a self-buff for increased durability. His higher-than-average health for a DPS character has sparked much fan discussion.

Blade's Absence and Fan Expectations

While the Fantastic Four's inclusion is highly anticipated, some players expressed disappointment over Blade's absence in Season 1. Data miners discovered significant in-game data referencing Blade, fueling speculation about his arrival. Dracula's role as the main villain further solidified these expectations. However, it appears Blade's debut will have to wait. Despite this, the overall excitement for Season 1 and the new content remains strong.
