Killing Floor 3 Delayed to Later in 2025

Tripwire Interactive announced a significant delay for Killing Floor 3 (KF3), pushing its release from March 25th, 2025, to a later, unspecified date in 2025. This decision follows a closed beta test that received overwhelmingly negative feedback.

Disappointing Beta Test Results

Tripwire's Bluesky post cited widespread concerns about the beta build's performance, user interface, lighting, and weapon feel. Player feedback was scathing, with descriptions ranging from "insanely clunky and clumsy" to an "unpolished, glitch-ridden, vomit-inducing wreck." One Reddit user, Captain_Pugman, criticized the game for deviating from the core Killing Floor experience, noting a shift away from the series' horror elements towards a more futuristic sci-fi aesthetic. Further complaints centered around the character-locked classes in the beta, removing the player's ability to freely choose characters and classes separately.

Tripwire acknowledged these issues, stating their commitment to delivering a game that lives up to the franchise's standards. They promised to address these concerns before relaunching the game and pledged to keep fans updated.
