Infinity Nikki has announced compensation for the issues encountered in the release of version 1.5. Learn more about the benefits players will receive and the steps developer Infold Games plans to take to address these shortcomings.

Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Updates

Free Diamonds as Compensation

Infinity Nikki's version 1.5 update, eagerly anticipated by fans, fell short of the promises made by developer Infold Games. On May 18, via a post on Twitter (X), Infold Games apologized for the "unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content" and announced compensation measures.

The update introduced numerous technical issues and bugs across various platforms, making the game unplayable for some. Additionally, sudden changes to the game's systems increased the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11 pieces, raising the maximum number of pulls needed to complete an outfit to 220. This change made acquiring full sets more costly and time-consuming for players.

A new dye system was also introduced, which players found confusing and cumbersome, as it requires unlocking color palettes for each clothing item. The Threads of Reunion storyline was removed due to the ongoing development of the associated outfit. Infold Games acknowledged these issues, stating, "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion."

In response to player feedback, Infold Games offered compensation: "As compensation for Version 1.5's shortcomings and schedule changes, all stylists will receive Diamond 120 and Energy Crystal 1 every day from June 5 to June 12, totaling Diamond 960 and Energy Crystal 8." Despite this, the studio has not yet outlined a clear plan to address the reported issues, leading to a flurry of concerns from fans in the comments section regarding the pity change, the dye system, and other bugs.

Delayed Version 1.6

Due to the problematic release of version 1.5, Infold Games has decided to extend this version to address the issues, delaying version 1.6 until June 12, 2025. This delay will also affect the release and scheduling of in-game events.

The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, originally set for May 20, will now be introduced in version 1.6. According to Infold Games, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for this delay.

More Unlisted Adjustments On The Way

Infold Games is addressing only the tip of the iceberg with the issues in version 1.5. "There are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates," Infold explained.

To improve communication with players, the developers are launching the Miraland Round Table initiative, where players can directly send their concerns and feedback. This can be done via the game’s official email account, with "Table Advisor" in the subject line, or through the in-game Customer Service option.

Infold Games expressed "guilt over delayed promises, yet gratitude for your unwavering support," and promised to make the game "shine brighter than ever."
