Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds) has soared to become Capcom's fastest-selling game, reaching over 8 million units sold in just three days after its release. Capcom proudly announced this achievement on their official website, marking a historic milestone for the company.

Reports from SteamDB highlight the game's success, noting that MH Wilds achieved over 1.3 million concurrent players on Steam, despite receiving mixed reviews. Capcom credits this success to their relentless promotion efforts, which included showcasing the game at global video game events and conducting an open beta test that allowed players to experience the game firsthand.

Latest Update Addressed Game-Breaking Bug

MH Wilds has now addressed bugs that limited players’ progress in the game. Monster Hunter’s official support account, Monster Hunter Status, posted on Twitter (X) on March 4, 2025 that hot fix patch Ver.1.000.04.00 is now live on all platforms.

The latest update for MH Wilds, hot fix patch Ver.1.000.04.00, released on March 4, 2025, has tackled several bugs that were hindering player progress. This patch fixed issues such as the "Grill a Meal" and "Ingredient Center" features not unlocking properly, the Monster Field Guide being inaccessible, and a critical bug that blocked story progression in Chapter 5-2 "A World Turned Upside Down." Players are required to update the game to continue playing online.

However, not all issues were resolved in this update. Some bugs remain, including a network error when players use an SOS flare post-quest start, and Palico’s blunt weapon attacks not causing stun or exhaust damage. Capcom plans to address these multiplayer-related issues in a future patch.
