Author:Kristen Update:Apr 12,2025

Embarking on your journey through the enchanting Ligneus Region in *Atelier Yumia*, you'll soon discover the joy of setting up camp with Yumia and your companions. If you're unsure about where and when you can build a camp, let's guide you through the process of camping in *Atelier Yumia*.

How to Craft a Camping Set in Atelier Yumia

You'll unlock the ability to craft Camping Sets using Simple Synthesis after conquering the manabound Dux Lighthouse, the initial manabound area in your adventure. Once you've cleared it and established a base on the newly revealed land, return to the Ligneus Survey Base and have a chat with Erhard to unlock the camping feature.

To craft a Camping Set, you'll need the following materials:

  • 5% Energy
  • 3 Wood
  • 2 Water
  • 5 Fiber
  • 2 Charcoal

These materials are easily found around the Ligneus Survey Base. Water can be sourced from wells throughout the region or by harvesting plants along river shores, which also yield fiber. Charcoal is obtained by breaking down ore.

Once you've gathered the materials, access the Simple Synthesis menu and ensure you have a 4×4 space available before crafting your Camping Set. If space is an issue, the set will be stored in your stash at the Atelier or one of your bases.

Where to Camp in Atelier Yumia

With your Camping Set ready, you can pitch camp in any open space. Avoid narrow cliffs or dense forests; you need a reasonably clear area. There are numerous designated campsites like the River Campsite near the Ligneus Survey Base where you can set up a temporary base.

If you have a Camping Set in your Exploration Bag, use the radial menu to check if the Camping option in the bottom right corner is highlighted. If it's greyed out, you're not in a suitable spot for camping.

What to Do While Camping in Atelier Yumia

Camping is your only chance to cook the food you've gathered during your explorations, making it crucial to find a spot to rest before tackling tough bosses or venturing into manabound areas, especially on higher difficulty settings.

Additionally, camping provides a unique opportunity to deepen your relationships with your companions through special dialogue that, while not crucial to the story, enriches your understanding of their characters.
