He'll explain the plight of his family's ancestral site, infested with shadowy creatures emerging from three towers. Completing this task earns you valuable rewards and unlocks the Shadow of the Past quest.

Thorncrown Rises Tower Locations

Three towers comprise this quest, each triggering a sub-quest:

• Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: Located northeast of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: Situated south of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: Found southwest of Thorncrown Rises.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise

This sub-quest begins by interacting with Itzel, east of the Resounding Rise Tower. The tower's challenges include:

• Navigating hallways and interacting with paintings to progress.
• Confronting and defeating multiple Abyssal Mercators.
• Collecting numerous Supply chests scattered throughout the tower.
• Solving a painting puzzle by correctly rearranging them in specific displays.

Successfully completing the puzzle weakens one of the Command Rise Tower barriers.

After the Resounding Rise, proceed southeast to the Twilight Rise Tower and speak with Insula. This sub-quest involves:

• Defeating an Abyssal Patricius.
• Collecting Supply chests.

Completing this sub-quest weakens the second Command Rise Tower barrier.

Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise

This final sub-quest automatically activates after completing the previous two. Key steps include:

• Utilizing the Wingray for aerial access to the tower.
• Engaging in combat against enemies and collecting Supply chests throughout the tower's multiple levels.

• Defeating a final Abyssal Patricius.
