Warhammer 40K: Tacticus, Warpforge Add New Factions

This year's Warhammer Skulls 2025 event delivered an abundance of new content. The showcase revealed fresh games, expansions, and substantial updates across the Warhammer franchise. Mobile gamers can particularly look forward to the Adeptus Custodes arriving in Tacticus and the Emperor's Children faction debuting in Warpforge.

Command the Adeptus Custodes

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus welcomes another powerful Imperium faction - the formidable Adeptus Custodes, the Emperor's elite personal guard. These warriors surpass even Space Marines in strength, resilience, and firepower.

The golden-armored Custodes arrive through a new Legendary Survival Event beginning May 24th. Leading the charge is Trajann Valoris, a commander built to withstand punishment while dishing out devastating counterattacks.

Kill at the Command of the Emperor’s Children

Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge takes players in a radically different direction with the chaotic Emperor's Children faction.

Once loyal Imperial forces, these warriors turned traitor during the Horus Heresy and now serve Slaanesh. They embody excess, pain, and pushing boundaries to extremes.

The new faction introduces three distinctive warlords. Lord Kaphrael specializes in eliminating enemy champions while commanding the Callous Blades warband. Xarahan embodies arrogance, while Lucius the Eternal brings unmatched dueling expertise forged through centuries of battle.

Their mechanics match their twisted nature. Ecstasy cards trigger when health reaches critical levels, while Cruelty rewards wounding enemies without finishing them. Stimulation activates when units are targeted by stratagems, and Combat Elixirs generate additional strategic options.
