The release of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been pushed back to October 2025, as announced by the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, along with a video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights on the game's current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Paradox has been keeping the community informed through Dev Diaries, which cover aspects like characters, stories, and mechanics. However, all Dev Diaries are now on pause to allow the developers to concentrate on enhancing the game's quality.

Originally announced in March 2019, Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for a March 2020 release, developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, the timeline shifted with the first delay announced in October 2019, moving the release to an unspecified date in 2020, and later to 2021.
