Ultimate Arise Crossover Beginner’s Guide (Beta)

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 27,2025

If you think *Arise Crossover* is just about attacking helpless enemies with your Shadow units to get stronger ones, think again. We've reached the endgame and seen many players puzzled about progression, leveling up, and choosing the right Shadows. If you're one of them, this guide is for you.

How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands offers various recruitable Shadows and one powerful dungeon Shadow. The weakest unit in the game is **Soondoo**, available right from the start, while the strongest is **Mifalcon**, found on the final Brum Island. However, what truly matters in *Arise Crossover* is not just the type but the rank of your Shadows. A **Rank A Soondoo** will outperform a **Rank D Mifalcon**. Higher-ranked units can level up further; for instance, a **Rank D unit** tops out at **Level 75**, whereas an **SS Unit** can reach **Level 200**. Your ultimate goal should be to assemble a team of four **SS-ranked Mifalcons**, but the journey there is where the real fun begins.

Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* appear every 30 minutes and remain open for 15 minutes. Even if you enter a portal just before it closes, you can complete the dungeon as if entering a new game instance. These portals can spawn in various locations across the islands, with their difficulty randomly assigned.

Start by forming a team of **Rank D units** and tackle a **Rank D or C dungeon** on Leveling Island. This approach will help you build a solid unit roster and possibly recruit a rare Shadow. Remember, **dungeons are your only source for recruiting Rare Units and common units above Rank C**.

When a portal spawns, seize the opportunity. Even if your team isn't strong enough, wait by the portal for a higher-level player to join. Many players can solo dungeons and are willing to help lower-level players, boosting them through to recruit better units. This community spirit is key to progressing in *Arise Crossover*. We once had a player guide us through a **Rank A dungeon** with only **Rank C units**, which allowed us to recruit **Rank A units** and reach the endgame. We later paid it forward by helping players with **Rank D units** through a **Rank S dungeon**. Embrace this cycle of support.

Arise Crossover Weapons

During the current Beta phase of *Arise Crossover*, player weapons are largely ineffective. They might offer a slight advantage early on, but by the second island, their impact diminishes significantly. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the most powerful common weapon, costs **60 million** and deals **516,1K damage**. Compare this to your units, which can hit between **200 to 400 million** damage. Unless you're looking to spend unnecessarily, save your currency until weapon effectiveness improves with future updates.

How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover

Wild mounts in *Arise Crossover* spawn every 15 minutes, with only one player on the server able to attempt capturing each spawn. A server-wide message alerts players to a new mount, but no message is sent when someone claims it or if it vanishes. Mounts can appear in six different locations: on the back of the main islands or on smaller islands between them. Check the developer's map for specific spawn points.

You can't capture the same mount twice, and capturing attempts can fail. **Flying mounts** are the rarest, with a 10% spawn rate, while **ground mounts** are common, and **water mounts** can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC. To get a mount, race to the spawn locations when the server message appears. While mounts aren't necessary for progression, a flying mount certainly makes traversing the world easier.

That's the rundown on *Arise Crossover*. We'll keep updating this beginner's guide with new game updates. Meanwhile, don't forget to check out *Arise Crossover* codes for some great freebies.
