Author:Kristen Update:Apr 27,2025

Developer Goodwin Games has just unveiled their latest project, a chilling survival horror game titled "Quite a Ride," designed exclusively for PC. Utilizing the advanced capabilities of Unreal Engine 5, the game places you on a bicycle in a foggy rural landscape, where you must keep pedaling to ward off the encroaching fog and the terrifying creatures it harbors. While an official release date hasn't been set, the anticipation is already building.

As Goodwin Games explains, "You travel by bicycle through a foggy rural landscape filled with eerie secrets and monsters lurking in the dense mist. The game's atmosphere and themes draw inspiration from Stephen King's works and iconic horror films of the '80s and '90s." You can watch the announcement trailer and explore the first screenshots in the gallery below to get a glimpse of what awaits.

In "Quite a Ride," your survival hinges on more than just pedaling. Your phone's battery, crucial for receiving mysterious messages that can either aid or hinder your journey, depletes over time and must be recharged by cycling. As you navigate through this eerie world, you'll encounter deserted towns and strange laboratories, with the road ahead constantly shifting. Adding an innovative layer to the gameplay, Goodwin Games introduces a unique pseudo-multiplayer element: "Players' collective global efforts can change the environment, unlocking new locations, hidden characters, and secret quests over time."

If "Quite a Ride" piques your interest, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam and stay updated on its development and eventual release.
