Sonic Rumble Pre-Launch Event Includes Monkey Ball, Altered Beast

While the global release of Sonic Rumble is still on the horizon, set for May 8th, the excitement is already building with the announcement of a pre-release crossover event that's sure to delight fans of classic Sega games. This event isn't just about bringing in external influences; it's a celebration of Sega's rich history, featuring iconic characters from beloved titles.

Starting today and running until May 7th, players in regions where Sonic Rumble is in soft launch can participate in this unique crossover. You can claim the Werewolf character from the classic game Altered Beast for free, adding a legendary touch to your gameplay experience.

For those with the Sega Star Event Pass, there's even more to look forward to. You'll unlock access to the Weredragon, another character from Altered Beast, as well as Opa-Opa, the original Sega mascot from the arcade hit Fantasy Zone. These additions not only enhance your roster but also bring a nostalgic flair to the game.
