"Schedule I Update 0.3.4: New Pawn Shop, Fancy Items Added"

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 15,2025

Developer Tyler has released the eagerly awaited 0.3.4 update for Schedule I, following a short testing phase. The update, detailed in Steam patch notes, brings significant new content to the wildly popular drug dealer simulator that exploded onto the scene during its early access launch on March 24.

Version 0.3.4 marks the first major content update for Schedule I, introducing a functional pawn shop, a boutique store, various wall decorations, and more, as outlined below.

In a Steam post, Tyler expressed his apologies for the delay in releasing the update, stating, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He reassured fans that larger monthly updates would commence next month, promising smoother and timelier releases.

Looking ahead, Tyler is focused on addressing remaining bugs, which he has prioritized as follows:

  • Ensuring employees work consistently and without issues.
  • Preventing save game corruption and disappearance, with insights from Valve to improve the save file format for better compatibility with Steam Cloud saves and reduced corruption risks.
  • Minimizing disconnections and loading issues in multiplayer.

Additionally, Tyler aims to enhance optimization and achieve Steam Deck verification for Schedule I as soon as possible, using it as a performance benchmark.

PlaySchedule I topped Steam's sales charts upon its launch, surpassing big names like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals after going viral across social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players start as small-time dealers and rise to become drug kingpins, managing the production and distribution of various substances in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Players can expand their empire through properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by TVGS, the Australian indie developer Tyler, who described Schedule I's explosive launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming," shared his thoughts on reddit: "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
