Housemarque's latest creation, Saros, made its grand debut at the State of Play in February 2025. This new title is scheduled to launch on both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro in 2026. Saros will build upon and enhance the gripping gameplay of Housemarque's previous third-person action game, Returnal. The story will revolve around the character Arjun Devraj, portrayed by the acclaimed Hollywood actor Rahul Kohli.

Come Back Stronger

Saros is designed to allow Returnal to stand independently, as stated by Housemarque's creative director, Gregory Louden. The new IP aims to expand on Returnal's narrative and gameplay mechanics. While Returnal offered an ever-changing roguelike experience across shifting biomes, Saros introduces permanent and evolving loadouts, including weapons and suits, enabling players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome any challenges they face.

An extended gameplay reveal is slated for later in 2025, giving fans more to look forward to as the release date approaches.
