While Astra Yao's in-game debut was highly anticipated following her reveal at The Game Awards 2024, leaks point to an early skin for her. Donutleaker, a prominent leaker, shared screenshots of an all-white, puff-sleeved dress skin for Astra Yao, discovered within the 1.5 beta. This is corroborated by Palito, who also uncovered data referencing skins for both Astra Yao and Ellen Joe. The inclusion of a skin so soon after her introduction is unusual.

The 1.5 update also seems to finally address the lack of dedicated content for Ellen Joe, a day-one character. Rumors suggest the addition of Ellen's first Agent Story, potentially expanding on the popular shark Thiren.

While the new skins for Astra Yao and Ellen Joe are hinted at, their availability in Version 1.5 remains uncertain. They might be teased for future updates. However, the update is expected to include a skin for Nicole Demara, an A-Rank unit, potentially obtainable through a free, limited-time event.
