Star Wars Celebration has unveiled our first glimpse of Rory McCann stepping into the role of Baylan Skoll for Season 2 of Ahsoka. This follows the tragic passing of Ray Stevenson, who originally portrayed the character and was celebrated for his performances in Thor, RRR, Punisher: War Zone, Rome, and other notable works. Stevenson's sudden death due to a brief illness occurred just three months before Ahsoka's premiere, leaving a significant void in the series.

While we're yet to see Rory McCann in action, the Ahsoka panel at Star Wars Celebration provided an exclusive first-look image, which you can view below.

Ahsoka series creator Dave Filoni expressed the profound challenge of losing Ray Stevenson, describing him as "the most beautiful person on screen and off." Despite this loss, Filoni and the team are moving forward with Season 2, promising the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, alongside fan favorites like Admiral Ackbar, Zeb, Chopper, and others.

However, once the narrative found its footing, Ahsoka delivered a compelling blend of rich lore, humor, and epic battles, echoing the essence of classic Star Wars while carving out a fresh narrative path.
