Retro Gaming Revival: Classic 1994 PC, PS1

Microids announces the autumn release of a remastered Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest for all major platforms. This updated version of the 1994 classic retains the original's charm while incorporating modern enhancements. Developed by 2.21 and published by Microids, the remake boasts improved visuals, refined gameplay, and a new soundtrack by original composer Philippe Vachey.

The game's origins lie with Adeline Software International, a now-defunct studio comprised largely of Infogrames alumni and responsible for the original Little Big Adventure and its sequel. Microids, currently developing a new Totally Spies title, is handling publishing duties.

Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest features a captivating story, redesigned controls, updated level design, an improved version of Twinsen's signature weapon, and a fresh artistic vision. The narrative centers on Twinsen's quest to liberate the inhabitants of Twinsun from the tyrannical control of Dr. Funfrock, whose inventions of cloning and teleportation have thrown the planet into chaos.

Previously available on GOG.com (PC and Mac), and later on Android and iOS, the original Little Big Adventure has enjoyed renewed interest. The development of this remake follows 2021 announcements from the 2.21 team, co-founded by Didier Chanfray, known for his work on Time Commando. Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest will launch this year on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG).
