Phoenix 2 Updates Debut Campaign Mode, Unveils Controller Support

The Android indie shoot'em up, Phoenix 2, has received a massive update brimming with new content and features. Fans of the game's fast-paced action and strategic depth should read on for the full details.

What's New?

The most significant addition is a brand-new campaign mode. No longer limited to daily missions, players can now immerse themselves in a story-driven experience spanning 30 meticulously crafted missions, featuring characters from the Phoenix 2 universe. This offers a refreshing change of pace and a unique challenge for both veterans and newcomers. A stylish new Starmap enhances the visual appeal as you explore diverse locations and battle invaders.

Another exciting addition is customizable player tags. VIP players can personalize their leaderboard entries with a variety of designs, colors, and information to create a truly unique profile. These customized tags remain on the leaderboard permanently.

Controller support is now fully integrated, providing gamepad compatibility for players who prefer a console-like experience.

Interface Enhancements

Speedrunners and competitive players will appreciate the new wave progress indicator and timer added to missions, providing real-time feedback during intense gameplay.

Beyond these major additions, the update also includes numerous smaller improvements and bug fixes, including updated character portraits.
