The game's troubled release history is well documented. Initially slated for a March 2023 European release, it faced multiple delays, first to December 2023, then March 2024, and finally a January 2025 postponement. Pre-orders through retailers like Amazon ultimately resulted in cancellation notifications.

This cancellation is a significant blow to fans, particularly those anticipating the game's official release in Spanish and other European languages. While a US import remains an option for those seeking a physical copy, the lack of official European distribution is a considerable setback.

Omori, an RPG centered on Sunny, a young boy grappling with the aftermath of a traumatic event, seamlessly blends the real world with Sunny's dream world, where he becomes Omori. Initially released on PC in December 2020, the game expanded to Switch, PS4, and Xbox in 2022. However, the Xbox version was subsequently removed due to an unrelated issue involving an older, inappropriate T-shirt design sold by OMOCAT.
