Monster Hunter Wilds Patch 1.000.05.00 Addresses Quest Issues

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 13,2025

Capcom has released hotfix 1.000.05.00 for *Monster Hunter Wilds* across all platforms, addressing several crucial improvements and bug fixes. While this patch tackles various progression roadblocks and glitches, players shouldn't expect any performance enhancements based on the patch notes below.

Despite a record-breaking launch, *Monster Hunter Wilds* currently holds a "mixed" user review rating on Steam, with performance issues on PC being a primary concern. However, the game's success is undeniable: it sold an impressive 8 million copies in just three days, making it Capcom's fastest-selling game ever. Furthermore, it boasts the fifth highest concurrent player count in Steam history, peaking at a staggering 1,384,608—surpassing even *Dota 2*, *Cyberpunk 2077*, and *Elden Ring* on Valve's platform. This is a significant leap from *Monster Hunter: World*'s peak of 334,684 concurrent players.

A major title update is anticipated for early April, promising a new endgame area and exciting new monster hunting challenges.
