Gameloft has just rolled out a massive update for Minion Rush: Running Game, bringing significant changes that enhance both the gameplay and visual experience. The game has now transitioned to the Unity engine, resulting in a full visual upgrade. Players can expect the once cartoony but slightly dated runner to now boast cleaner and sharper graphics. Alongside this, a new user interface has been introduced, making navigation through the game more intuitive and user-friendly.
The most anticipated addition to Minion Rush is the new endless runner mode, accessible directly from the main menu. This update also introduces individual abilities for Minions, adding a new layer of strategy to the gameplay. Another highly requested feature now included is customizable player profiles, where players can set nicknames, avatars, and frames, enhancing the personal touch to their gaming experience. Additionally, the Costume Collection feature allows players to unlock special bonuses as they collect and manage their outfits.
A new feature called the Hall of Jam has been added, where players can collect bananas during runs to fill a progress bar. This progress unlocks various rewards including story puzzle pieces, Minion stickers, G-Coins, gadgets, and costumes, providing players with continuous incentives to keep playing.
Gameloft has also introduced new power-ups such as the Disco-boot, Bouncer, Rocket Blade, and Minion Armor. Alongside these, new Gadgets have been added, allowing players to customize their strategy with temporary boosts to distance and performance before starting a run. Locations from earlier versions of the game are receiving visual updates, ensuring a fresh look throughout the game environment. Daily and weekly tournaments are now part of Minion Rush, offering players the chance to compete against others and earn rewards.
