Crafting Your Shield

Surprisingly, some players remain unaware of the shield's existence. Not immediately apparent, and a later addition to Minecraft, the shield wasn't always available. Crafting one, however, is straightforward, requiring minimal resources.

You'll need six wooden planks (easily crafted from logs) and one iron ingot (obtained by smelting iron ore). Arrange the planks in a "Y" formation within the crafting grid, placing the iron ingot in the top-center slot.
