Metal Slug Revival Begins on Android!

Get ready for a blast from the past! HaoPlay Limited's upcoming title, Metal Slug: Awakening, is bringing the classic arcade experience to mobile. Launching globally on July 18th, 2024, pre-registration is now open.

A Modern Reboot of a Classic

Metal Slug: Awakening offers a fresh take on the iconic 90s run-and-gun series. Initially revealed in 2020 as Metal Slug Code: J by TiMi Studios, the game has seen some delays and name changes. Following its Southeast Asian release in late 2023, it's finally ready for a worldwide launch.

For those unfamiliar with the franchise, Metal Slug is a Japanese run-and-gun series debuting in 1996, created by Nazca Corporation and later expanding into a multimedia phenomenon. While Metal Slug has seen previous mobile entries (Metal Slug Defense, Metal Slug Attack, and Metal Slug Commander), Awakening promises enhanced features and gameplay.

Classic Gameplay Meets Modern Updates

The game retains the core run-and-gun mechanics, updated with stunning visuals and innovative gameplay elements. Rejoin your favorite Metal Slug characters in new missions, explore a World Adventure mode, team up with friends in 3-player co-op, and conquer challenging Roguelike levels.
