Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – New Characters, Maps, and Game Mode Unveiled

NetEase Games recently unveiled exciting details about Marvel Rivals Season 1, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This three-month season introduces Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and Invisible Woman (Strategist) from the Fantastic Four, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving approximately six to seven weeks later. The Baxter Building will feature prominently in a new map.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice, offers 10 new skins and a reward of 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. A brand-new game mode, "Doom Match," will debut, featuring chaotic 8-12 player battles on maps like the Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum. Victory goes to the top 50%.

Three new maps are coming:

• Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum (for Doom Match)
• Empire of the Eternal Night: Midtown (for convoy missions)
• Empire of the Eternal Night: Central Park (launching in six to seven weeks)

NetEase Games emphasized its commitment to player feedback, acknowledging concerns about character balance (e.g., Hawkeye's ranged advantage) and promising adjustments in the first half of Season 1.
