Akupara Games and Tmesis Studio's latest adventure, Universe for Sale, is now available. Following on the heels of successful releases like The Darkside Detective series and Zoeti, this new title promises a unique and captivating experience.

Is the Universe Actually for Sale?

Set on a bizarre, acid-rain-soaked space station orbiting Jupiter, Universe for Sale introduces a world teeming with eccentric characters and intriguing mysteries. Orangutans with surprisingly sharp wits work the docks alongside cultists bartering flesh for enlightenment.

At the heart of the story is Lila, a woman with the extraordinary ability to create universes from her very palm. The game begins with the player controlling the Master, a skeletal cultist from the Cult of Detachment, landing in a ramshackle mining colony.

Exploring the colony's quirky shops and tea houses, the Master eventually encounters Lila's tea house, Honin's. The game unfolds through alternating perspectives between Lila and the Master, gradually revealing Lila's enigmatic past.

Playing as Lila involves a captivating mini-game: crafting universes by mixing and matching ingredients to create visually stunning worlds. As the Master, players delve into the philosophies of the Cult of Detachment and interact with the Church of Many Gods.

The narrative unfolds gradually, inviting players to theorize about the overarching mystery. Every character, whether human, skeletal, or robotic, possesses a unique story, and the richly detailed world encourages thorough exploration.
