How to Heal in Dynasty Warriors Origins

Author:Kristen Update:Feb 11,2025

In Dynasty Warriors: Origins, managing health is crucial, especially for newcomers. This guide details how to heal effectively, catering to various skill levels and difficulty settings.

Healing Methods in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

The primary healing method involves consuming meat buns. These are acquired by destroying pots near enemy bases, and, on Historian and Wayfarer difficulty levels, occasionally dropped by defeated enemy officers. Note: Officers on Hero and Ultimate Warrior difficulties do not drop meat buns.

To use a meat bun, press Up on the D-pad. If your inventory is full upon acquiring a meat bun, it's automatically consumed (unless you're already at full health). Initially, you can carry three meat buns; however, the "Meat Bun Glutton" skill increases this capacity.

For hands-free healing, activate the "Auto-Use Meat Buns" option in the Configuration menu. This automatically consumes meat buns when your health drops below a threshold. Manual healing remains possible even with auto-healing enabled. This feature is highly recommended, regardless of your preferred healing style.
