Eldgear's Story: A World on the Edge

Argenia, transitioning from medieval times to a magical era, is a land teeming with numerous nations vying for control of newly discovered, incredibly powerful ancient ruins. A recent war has ended, but the fragile peace is easily shattered. Enter Eldia, a global task force central to the narrative, dedicated to preventing these potent weapons from reigniting conflict. Their mission: research, monitor, and control access to the dangerous ruins.

Strategic Combat with Unique Mechanics

Eldgear offers a strategic turn-based combat system. While the battles themselves are relatively straightforward, the underlying mechanics add depth. The EMA (Embedding Abilities) system allows equipping three abilities per unit, usable at any time. This allows for tactical flexibility, combining stat boosts with abilities like Stealth or bodyguard functions. The EXA (Expanding Abilities) system unleashes powerful attacks once Tension is maxed during battle. And looming over it all are the enigmatic and potentially dangerous GEAR machines, some acting as guardians, others as formidable foes.
