Clash Heroes Reborn: Supercell

Finnish game developer Supercell has made a surprising announcement: after cancelling their RPG, Clash Heroes, they're reviving the concept in a completely new form – Project R.I.S.E.

The Scoop on Project R.I.S.E.

Clash Heroes is officially defunct. Following in the footsteps of Clash Mini, it's been shelved. However, Supercell is giving the game a second life. Project R.I.S.E. is a multiplayer action RPG roguelite, set within the familiar Clash universe.

Supercell's announcement video, featuring game lead Julien Le Cadre, confirmed the cancellation of Clash Heroes, but revealed Project R.I.S.E. as a multiplayer-focused action RPG.

Project R.I.S.E. shares some DNA with Clash Heroes but is a completely new game. It’s a social action RPG roguelite where you team up with two other players to ascend The Tower, facing new challenges on each floor. Unlike its predecessor, the focus is on cooperative gameplay with diverse characters, instead of solo PvE dungeon crawling.

Currently in pre-alpha, Project R.I.S.E. is scheduled for its first playtest in early July 2024. Register on the official website for a chance to participate.
