Botany Manor's PS5 Launch Rescheduled

Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Confirmed for January 28th

After a short delay, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally bloom on PlayStation consoles. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PS4 and PS5 versions have been pushed back to January 28th, 2025, allowing for further refinement.

Originally launched in April 2024 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC to widespread praise, Botany Manor charmed players with its relaxing gameplay, magical plant cultivation, and charming English countryside setting. The PlayStation port, announced earlier, faced a brief delay to ensure optimal player experience. Publisher Whitethorn Games confirmed the new release date on January 9th, 2025.

While the January 28th date is now set, a PlayStation Store page remains absent, meaning pre-orders aren't yet possible. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store, mirroring its absence from the Switch and Xbox versions.

Botany Manor Enhances PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup

Botany Manor's strong reception (an 83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) solidified its reputation as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024. Its cozy atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and rewarding exploration captivated critics. Its arrival on PlayStation is sure to enrich the platform's already impressive collection of puzzle titles.

With its PlayStation launch, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Developer Balloon Studios hasn't yet announced their next project. Joining Botany Manor on the PlayStation Store on January 28th are Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
