Bam Margera will indeed be part of the final roster for the highly anticipated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, despite not being initially listed. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk himself reached out to Activision to request Margera's inclusion. Although initially told it couldn't be done, Hawk's determination led to a change of heart. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera, known not only as a former professional skateboarder but also as a star of the Jackass film and TV series, has faced well-documented struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehab visits. He was also fired from Jackass Forever and subjected to a restraining order by director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats.

Adding to the buzz, Hawk and Margera recently shared a video of them skateboarding together, which sparked initial speculation about Margera's return to the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 was announced earlier this month and is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy and has managed to overcome significant hurdles, including surviving the scrapping of the project following Activision's merger of previous series developer Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
