Assassin‘s Creed Shadows Worldwide Launch Times Revealed

Ubisoft has announced the global launch schedule for Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

In a departure from previous titles in the franchise and typical Ubisoft releases, Assassin’s Creed Shadows launches at the same universal time worldwide. No paid early access option is available.

The game unlocks on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S at midnight local time on May 20, though PC players will see different unlock times depending on whether they purchase through Steam or Ubisoft Connect.

Pre-loading is now active across Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms.

Significant expectations rest on Assassin’s Creed Shadows following multiple delays and the commercial disappointment of last year's Star Wars Outlaws. Ubisoft has faced several high-profile setbacks, studio restructuring, and project cancellations leading up to this release.

IGN's review scored Assassin’s Creed Shadows 8/10, praising it as "one of the most refined open-world experiences in the franchise, building upon a decade of evolving gameplay systems."
