Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows), released over a month ago, continues to evolve with Ubisoft’s planned updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared its Year 1 roadmap on X, detailing new story and gameplay additions.

Highlights include free Story Drops, bringing fresh quests to expand the game’s narrative. Ubisoft notes, “These complimentary updates will unlock new player abilities, introduce allies, add world activities, and delve deeper into beloved characters’ backstories, enriching the core game experience.”

Ubisoft also teased the first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, set to launch later this year. This DLC introduces Awaji Island, a new region to explore post-epilogue, featuring new enemies, abilities for both protagonists, and an exclusive weapon for Naoe.
