Witch Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Infernalist

A top-tier choice! The Infernalist Witch commands devastating fire spells and summons the Infernal Hound from the underworld. Transform into a demonic beast for increased damage and mobility (at the cost of health). The Loyal Hellhound skill is crucial for demonic form survivability, while Beidat's Will links Spirit to maximum HP, demanding investment in both Strength and HP for a formidable undead army.

Blood Mage

While not as dominant as the Infernalist, the Blood Mage offers thrilling gameplay. Sanguimancy replaces Mana with Health, demanding careful management. Skills like Vitality Siphon and Life Remnants drain enemy health, while Sunder the Flesh and Gore Spike enhance critical hits and attack damage, respectively. A high-risk, high-reward playstyle.

Sorcerer Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Stormweaver

The Stormweaver Sorcerer unleashes massive elemental damage with high critical hit chances, triggering Elemental Storm via Tempest Caller. Inflicting status ailments is key, aided by Strike Twice. Spirit Gems amplify elemental damage against afflicted enemies. Constant Gale and Force of Will boost spell casting speed and Mana regeneration, while Heart of the Storm converts Elemental Damage into Energy Shield for survivability.

Chronomancer

A unique addition to PoE2, the Chronomancer manipulates time. Spells like Temporal Rift and Time Freeze offer innovative combat options. While not currently the strongest, the Chronomancer’s potential is high. Skills like Now and Again (avoiding cooldowns), Apex of the Moment (slowing enemies), and Quicksand Hourglass (faster spell casting) highlight its time-bending capabilities.

Warbringer

The Warbringer combines war cries and totem summons for devastating melee combat, effective even against bosses. Imploding Impacts and Anvil’s Weight enhance armor penetration. Warcaller’s Bellow causes exploding corpses, while Greatwolf’s Howl removes Warcry cooldowns. For a more defensive approach, Renly’s Training and Turtle Charm boost shield and blocking.

Titan

A defensive powerhouse, the Titan uses powerful, slow attacks to paralyze enemies. Stone Skin increases armor by 50%, and Mysterious Lineage boosts maximum HP by 15%. Offensive abilities like Earthbreaker and Ancestral Empowerment strengthen Slam skills, while Surprising Strength increases damage against stunned enemies by 40%.

Monk Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Invoker

The Invoker Monk wields elemental power, utilizing melee combat, elemental damage, and status effects. Power Charges enhance skills.

Acolyte of Chayula

This Monk embraces Darkness, forgoing Spirit for increased Darkness and survivability. Consuming Questions and Mana Leech are key, but currently hampered by inefficient MP drain. Currently outperformed by the Invoker.

Mercenary Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Witchhunter

A top-tier class, the Witchhunter excels at eliminating demons and the undead. Increased damage on first and last hits, combined with passive skills like Pitiless Killer, Damage vs Low Life Enemies, and Judge, Jury, and Executioner, makes it a formidable force. Witchbane and No Mercy focus on reducing enemy concentration and increasing damage. Zealous Inquisition adds a chance for slain enemies to explode.

Gemling Legionnaire

Gameplay revolves around gems, their stats, quality, and color. Thaumaturgical Infusion increases resistances based on gem colors. Crystalline Potential and Implanted Gems enhance skill levels. Advanced Thaumaturgy reduces skill costs and attribute requirements, while Integrated Efficiency adds three extra active skill slots. Gem Studded allows two identical Support gems.

Ranger Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Deadeye

A ranged combat specialist, the Deadeye increases attack range and damage. Endless Munitions adds an extra projectile per skill use. Ideal for bow users focusing on elemental damage, offering increased movement speed, extra projectiles, and additional Marks.

Pathfinder

A master of poison, the Pathfinder excels at draining enemy health with doubled poison effectiveness. Overwhelming Toxicity doubles poison application but shortens duration. High movement speed and slow resistance, combined with gas grenades, allow for effective area control.
