Craving popcorn served from Galactus’ iconic head? For fans catching The Fantastic Four: First Steps in theaters, that dream is now reality. AMC Theatres has unveiled a towering Galactus popcorn bucket, poised to become a must-have collector’s item.

Dubbed the “Giant Galactus Popcorn Vessel” by AMC Theatres, this 17-inch-tall bucket showcases the film’s villain, portrayed by Ralph Ineson of The Witch and Nosferatu fame, from the neck up. The bucket mirrors Galactus’ head, complete with striking blue eyes and a shimmering purple helmet. Popcorn is accessed through the open top of the helmet, with each limited-edition bucket including a large popcorn, per AMC.

AMC is also offering a three-in-one snack holder inspired by First Steps, modeled after the film’s H.E.R.B.I.E. robot. Named the “H.E.R.B.I.E. Concessions Vessel,” it comes with a large popcorn, a large drink, and candy, featuring multiple compartments within H.E.R.B.I.E. to hold them all.

The theater chain is making waves with its bold moves, from extravagant popcorn buckets to expanding pre-show advertisements. According to The Hollywood Reporter, AMC has partnered with National CineMedia to introduce additional commercials, dubbed “platinum spots,” alongside traditional movie trailers starting July 1. Both companies will share the revenue from this initiative.

AMC addressed the decision, acknowledging initial hesitation but emphasizing financial benefits. “Though we were cautious about introducing this to our theaters, competitors have done so for over five years with no clear impact on attendance,” the company told THR. “This suggests the NCM pre-show program does not deter moviegoers.”

This week, Marvel dropped a new trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, spotlighting ticket sales and offering a first glimpse of baby Franklin Richards. The trailer largely recycles familiar footage but includes a touching scene of Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic and Sue Storm / Invisible Woman with their son, Franklin, marking his debut.

Director Matt Shakman also addressed speculation about Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom appearing in the film, suggesting the character will likely not feature. Still, fans remain convinced Doctor Doom could appear, possibly in a post-credits scene.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters on July 25, 2025.
