Square Enix annonce la fermeture de Romancing SaGa Re:universe

Le serveur mondial de Romancing SaGa Re:universe ferme ses portes le 2 décembre 2024. Alors que la version japonaise continue, cela marque la fin d'une période de quatre ans pour la base de joueurs mondiale.

Il reste deux mois

Les achats intégrés et les échanges de Google Play Points ont pris fin le 29 septembre 2024, suite à la dernière maintenance. Les joueurs ont jusqu'en décembre pour profiter des deux derniers mois du jeu.

La version mondiale, lancée en juin 2020, a reçu des critiques mitigées malgré des visuels forts et un système gacha généreux. Contrairement à son homologue japonais à succès, la version mondiale manquait de mises à jour de contenu importantes telles que Solistia et les unités 6 étoiles, un an en retard sur son homologue japonais, contribuant ainsi au mécontentement des joueurs.

Une tendance aux arrêts ?

Square Enix a fermé plusieurs titres mobiles cette année, dont Final Fantasy : Brave Exvius et deux jeux mobiles Dragon Quest, précédant la fermeture du service mondial de Romancing SaGa Re:universe.
