Batman et Deadpool mènent le retour du crossover Marvel-DC après 22 ans

La rivalité emblématique entre Marvel et DC passe au second plan alors que les deux géants s'unissent pour leur premier crossover de comics depuis JLA/Avengers en 2003, mettant en scène Batman et Deadpool dans une collaboration palpitante.

Selon Entertainment Weekly, Marvel et DC joignent leurs forces pour deux one-shots spéciaux mettant en vedette le Chevalier Noir et le Mercenaire Bavard. Deadpool/Batman #1 de Marvel, écrit par Zeb Wells (The Amazing Spider-Man) et illustré par Greg Capullo (Batman), s'associe à Batman/Deadpool #1 de DC, scénarisé par Grant Morrison (Batman) et dessiné par Dan Mora (Superman/Batman: World's Finest). Les deux numéros incluront des "aventures secondaires" réunissant d'autres personnages Marvel et DC.

Il s'agit du premier crossover majeur entre Marvel et DC depuis plus de deux décennies, si l'on exclue l'Omnivers de Fortnite. Les deux maisons ont une histoire de projets communs, initiée en 1976 avec Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man.

"Ces crossovers surviennent environ une fois par génération de lecteurs. Le timing doit être parfait pour préserver leur caractère exceptionnel", confie Jim Lee, Président, Directeur de la Création et Éditeur de DC à EW. "C'est complexe, cela nécessite une coordination et des validations minutieuses, mais l'histoire doit justifier l'enthousiasme."

Dan Buckley, Président de Marvel Entertainment, explique le choix de Batman et Deadpool : "C'est un duo insolite et amusant. L'humour de Deadpool associé au sérieux de Batman offre à la fois légèreté, intensité, et l'opportunité d'attirer nouveaux et anciens lecteurs avec une histoire passionnante, guidée par l'esprit des comics."

Deadpool/Batman #1 sortira en librairie le 17 septembre 2025, suivi par Batman/Deadpool #1 en novembre. EW note que Marvel et DC planifient déjà un autre duo crossover pour 2026, bien que les personnages concernés restent secrets.
