The Carplounge Autopilot revolutionizes the way you control your BaitBoat, replacing the traditional remote control with an intuitive Android tablet or phone interface. Available for free on the Google Play Store, this app is compatible with any Android device equipped with Bluetooth functionality. The connection between your device and the boat is facilitated through a Bluetooth transmitter box, enabling full control via the touchscreen.

In manual mode, the BaitBoat operates similarly to a standard model, allowing you to navigate it effortlessly using the touchscreen. The app displays real-time updates on the boat's position, route, and orientation, utilizing advanced compass technology. Additionally, you can save and name promising fishing spots identified by the echo sounder, such as "jetty left," "spot 1," or "home," using the integrated GPS.

Switching to autopilot mode, you can select and combine multiple points into a custom route, assigning specific actions to each point, such as opening hatches, releasing bait, or activating lights. For instance, you might program the boat to:

1. Navigate to "Sandbank" and open the right hopper upon arrival.
2. Proceed to "Spot 2" and open the left hopper.
3. Return to the fishing spot and blink once.

The boat will then autonomously follow this route, allowing you to store an extensive array of spots and routes. With state-of-the-art measurement technologies, including position and acceleration sensors, along with the latest GPS and compass systems, the autopilot ensures route guidance with an impressive 90% accuracy within 30cm.

The system also smartly handles line tension during movement, particularly when deploying multiple rods to different spots. The built-in electronics detect line tension and adjust the boat's course accordingly, ensuring it maintains a direct path to the target without unnecessary deviations or line bends.

While the autopilot replaces the traditional remote control, we offer the flexibility to connect a remote control to the system if preferred. You can choose to operate the BaitBoat via your tablet or the remote control. The app is optimized for 10-inch Android tablets and can be used for direct steering via the touchscreen.
