《魔兽世界》玩家吐槽最新补丁bug频出,连银行界面都变成了德语

World of Warcraft has just released a major new patch— the kind that brings an entirely new zone, fresh quests, dungeons, a delve, a raid, tons of story content, and more. While it’s common to encounter a few bugs with new content, Patch 11.2 appears to be unusually riddled with strange issues... including a bizarre glitch that’s switching some players’ bank tabs to German.

The German bank bug has been reported by multiple players on English-language clients, not just EU servers. It’s not game-breaking—just odd. The bug changes only the bank tab labels to German, leaving everything else untouched. Interestingly, players from other regions and languages are reporting the same issue, but with different languages: one German player says their tabs are in French, while a player on an English client from Poland has French tabs, and their wife’s are in German.

That’s not the only problem players are encountering. I’ve run into several myself while questing in the new zone, K’aresh—quests failing to complete, vanishing from the quest log for no reason, and certain interactive objects requiring a full game reload to function. Last night, I also experienced frequent disconnects, and I’m far from alone. Some players can’t log in at all.

Others are stumbling upon even stranger bugs. One player claims the game is trying to charge them 500,000 gold just to enter the Darkmoon Faire—which is... a bit steep. Another player discovered a bug (possibly tied to a third-party mod) where their bags now hold 98 items each—far beyond what any bag in the game is designed to support.

Right now, it’s unclear whether Ghosts of K’aresh is unusually buggy compared to past patches, or if it just feels worse because everyone’s eager to jump in and play as much as possible, as quickly as possible. Most likely, these issues will be resolved within a few days, or at the very least by next Tuesday’s weekly update.

But for now, if you want to access your bank, you might need to brush up on your German. Viel Glück!
