The thrill of the game lies in the competition for these zones, pitting you against others in a strategic battle for dominance.
To claim a zone, simply step into its boundaries and take ownership from the current holder. Once you've successfully taken a zone, it turns green, symbolizing your control and generating income in the form of points. Stay alert and monitor your competitors' movements in real-time on the game map, allowing you to strategize and outmaneuver your rivals effectively.
The more zones you own, the higher your income, but be wary—losing a zone to a competitor will decrease your earnings. TURF offers three levels of top-lists (region, country, and world), where you can check your current standing and strive to climb the ranks.
The game operates in ROUNDS, with each round lasting one month and concluding on a Sunday near the start of a new month. At the end of each round, all zones reset, and collected points are zeroed to provide a fresh start for everyone. The top performers at the end of each round receive rewards that they can keep forever, adding an extra layer of competition and excitement.
