To travel, simply present your electronic travel ticket on your phone to the control service employees or the driver for fare verification. Your ticket remains valid until you reach your final destination and can be accessed in the "Valid Tickets" section. For a record of past journeys, check the "Travel details" section.

By using SMSBUS to pay for your travel, you agree to the service's rules, which are available on the website at https://smsbus.kz.

Occasionally, payments from your phone balance may fail due to several reasons, including:

The number is corporate.
The trust payment has not been repaid.
No balance replenishment since the purchase of the number.
The starting balance has not been used up.
The SIM card was replaced within 24 hours before payment.

Enhance your travel experience by opening a free virtual transport card within the SMSBUS application. Self-service registration is available for regular and school virtual transit cards. For other preferential cards, please visit the company’s office with the necessary documents.

Topping up your virtual transport card is easy; use your card number directly in the SMSBUS mobile application or through other compatible apps like Kaspi Bank, Halyk Bank (homebank), and more.

The SMSBUS application uses the following system permissions for your convenience:

Camera: To scan QR codes and facilitate the QR scan button's operation.
Location: For accurate city/town map display, automatic bus detection for straightforward fare payment (determining the bus code using the GPS location of both the passenger and the bus), and route planning from your current location to your destination. You can set destinations and departures on the map or enter text addresses, with the route algorithm accounting for transfers.
