On RYFFC, users are exposed to a broad spectrum of thoughts, articles, and opinions. While there is no censorship, we ensure it remains a non-triggering experience through our anti-bullying systems and a comprehensive self-moderation system. This allows users to avoid posts they aren't ready to see yet.

Ryff

A core feature of RYFFC is the Ryff. A Ryff is a concise "hot take" generated by the user about an article, limited to 88 characters. Fellow Ryffers engage with articles, pop culture, and news through Ryffs, bypassing traditional comment structures. If you come across a Ryff you want to react to, you can engage with the Ryffer through a Ryff Back. Remember, at RYFFC, we take turns, so choose your words wisely; you can only Ryff on another's Ryff once until they respond.

Self Moderation

RYFFC empowers users to self-select their preferred level of controversy or triggering material through three levels of moderation: G, M, and BE.

• G is for “General” audience moderation level, perfect for users who prefer to view only mild or non-controversial content.
• M is for “Moderate” audience moderation level, suitable for users who are comfortable with mild to moderately controversial content.
• BE is for “Bleeding Edge” audience moderation level, intended for users who want to access all available content, including highly controversial topics.

Voting

Complementing self-moderation, users have the power to vote on the moderation level of articles, ensuring content aligns with community preferences.

Superboost

Superboost adds excitement to your interactions. If you come across a post you really like, you can give it an extra boost, making your "Like" more impactful.

Like/Dislike

The traditional like/dislike system gets a fresh twist on RYFFC. Instead of clicking a thumb, simply swipe left or right on the article to express your opinion.
