Phase 10 Rules:
A phase is a combination of cards (sets, runs, same-color cards, or a mix). There are ten phases, played sequentially.
- Dealing: The dealer distributes 10 cards to each player, face down.
- Phase Completion: Phases must be completed in order (1-10). A complete phase must be in hand before being laid down. Players can add extra cards to a phase, but only if they directly extend already-placed cards. Only one phase can be completed per turn. Failing to complete a phase requires attempting the same phase again on the next turn. Credit is awarded upon successful phase completion, regardless of round outcome. Players are not obligated to lay down a phase if they have it.
- Going Out: After completing a phase, discard remaining cards. Always draw one card at the start of your turn and discard one at the end.
- Scoring: At the end of a round, players tally the value of remaining cards: 5 points for cards 1-9, 10 points for 10-12, 15 for a Skip, and 25 for a Wild card. The lowest score wins.
- Winning the Game: The first player to complete Phase 10 and discard all cards wins. In case of a tie in Phase 10, the player with the lowest score wins. If multiple players tie, they replay Phase 10.
