Set in a post-apocalyptic New Eridu, the last human city after the Hollows event, players take on the role of a "Proxy," exploring a world that significantly departs from MiHoYo's usual sci-fi and fantasy settings. This urban fantasy setting could be the key to the studio's next big success.

Zenless Zone Zero's launch on July 4th adds to MiHoYo's already impressive portfolio, built upon the phenomenal success of Genshin Impact. This new title distinguishes itself with its unique urban fantasy backdrop, a departure from the sci-fi and fantasy realms of the Honkai series and Genshin Impact.
