Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection: A Blast from the Past, Reimagined for Modern Players

Get ready for a nostalgic trip back to the origins of Yu-Gi-Oh! Konami has announced the upcoming release of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection for Nintendo Switch and Steam, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the beloved card game franchise.

This curated collection will feature a selection of classic Game Boy titles, updated with modern conveniences. Currently confirmed games include:

• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2

Konami promises a total of ten classic titles, with the full lineup to be revealed later. While these original games lacked features common in modern titles, the Early Days Collection will include online multiplayer battles, save/load functionality, and enhanced online co-op where applicable. Expect quality-of-life improvements, customizable button layouts, and background options to enhance the gameplay experience.
